When I have a session for an hour or two, I have multiple rounds of mid to strong involuntary contractions during P-waves and multiple orgasms. Some of these contractions last for minutes. Is it still necessary to keep in shape with Kegels when it seems like your body is doing the same thing during an Aneros session?

IMHO, it is probably not ...necessary..." if you are having regular Anerosessions. Just having regular sessions where you are flexing those pelvic floor muscles is like doing a Kegel regime. However it certainly doesn't hurt to keep doing Kegel exercises, especially if you are unable to have a regular Anerosession.
