I would like confirmation as to the possibility of this working for me. I am a mid 60 male with the dreaded ED and diabetes which causes sensitivity issues. My direct question then is, can I achieve some kind of orgasm? Currently get nice sensations when my Syn is in place but no where near the "O".

I cannot directly attest to this considering I am a young buck, but there are plenty of men your age who have had great success! Definitely possible.

Fortunately for you Aneros use does not require penile participation at all to generate orgasms. There are basically two types of orgasms your Aneros model can induce, an anal orgasm (where the anal sphincter and rectal muscles are the primary groups going into spasm) and prostate orgasms (these may involve not only the anal sphincter & rectal muscles but also the BC, PC, cremaster and other muscle groups as well). Prostate orgasms may be dry or wet (ejaculatory, similar to traditional penile stimulated orgasms). Additionally, prostate based orgasms may be felt as full body sensations with a more intense emotional component to their expression.
Good Vibes to You !

Hi @harddrive, welcome to Aneros Forum. I am about your age. I wish you well on your Aneros journey, and lots of fun and pleasure with Aneros.

Uh, you are not old. You are however, on the verge of a new experience that will cause you to question why you had not heard of it until now. As you progress, you may find that you are generating urges that you have not had since being a teenager. Prostate orgasms are unlike anything you have ever experienced. It can take time so be patient.

Relax, forego any expectations, savor all new sensations, and enjoy!

I am in my late 60's, relax, pay attention to your body and a super o will happen when you least expect it.

Sorry about the diabetes and ED, harddrive. Yes, this can work for you. Patience is key here. It took me almost a year to get super-O's really coming and doing so consistently. The Aneros stimulates the nerves that travel down over the back of your prostate on their way down to the penis and the orgasm produced thereby is uncoupled from the ejaculation process so that you have dry orgasms. The neat thing is that these orgasms are very intense and last for prolonged periods of time, like a half hour or so. They're great for improving your urinary stream and erectile function too.

Thanks to all who have offered advice. Seems the consensus is go slow and be patient. Patience has never been my strong suit but truly sense in this case that's what it takes. Unlike the old adage about old dogs, as long as the body is still breathing, it can adapt and learn. This of course includes my old prostrate.

I am going to be 79 in June (unless I die before then, of course.) In July it will be 51 years since I was diagnosed with Diabetes. I started Aneros about 4 years ago. Within months I achieved prostate dry orgasms. I attribute my rapid progress to having had used dildos and practicing Kegels for years before. Yes, definitely takes patience and relaxation. I have practiced meditation since I was a teenager.

I bought a Progasm last month, and started to use it. Although, I get some very nice feelings and sensations at times, they are nothing near an orgasm. I wonder if this will work, and if I'm not just wasting time and money.

Patience is the name of the game. Just keep allowing yourself to experience those nice feelings and sensations, and they will increase at their own rate. It can take months depending on each individual and how much you use it, but it is so well worth it.

Be receptive and bless all the sensations, energies and joys you receive from this marvelous journey.
As much as possible, find good professional counsel. Seek out dietary and exercise options to help you excel in this new venture ! Always remember to breathe !

Having been diagnosed 50 years ago with Diabetes, I, too, suffer the dreaded ED for so many years how I can't even remember, but it sure doesn't affect the sensitivity of my prostate. I even masturbate with a semi-flaccid cock, and no lack of sensitivity there either. And I will be 79 in June..
