No experience using cocoa butter, but it sounds like it would work well. From the Wikipedia entry:

Because of the low melting point of cocoa butter, it is often used in pharmaceuticals as a base for suppositories. It is typically solid at room temperature, but readily melts at body temperature, releasing the medication. Cocoa butter is one of the most stable fats known, containing natural antioxidants that prevent rancidity and give it a storage life of two to five years, making it a good choice for non-food products. The smooth texture, sweet fragrance and emollient property of cocoa butter make it a popular ingredient in cosmetics and skin care products, such as soaps and lotions.

Plus, it's fairly cheap at many places online (you'll pay as much in shipping as you will for the product).

Any experience with this,fellow aneronauts?

Not heard of anyone using coco butter, but there are some that use Shea butter with good results.

I use coconut oil and it works very well for me. I get a big jar of refined coconut oil from whole foods for about seven bucks. It's solid at room temp so I just spoon out a small chunk and pop it in like a suppository. FYI if you get the virgin coconut oil you are going to smell like a big coconut but with the refined no odor. Good stuff and a great deal. I use it in conjunction with some probe thick and rich and it works well.
