Has anyone found any relief from BPH symptoms why using the Aneros? My urologist advised me to not use one but it seemed he did not know about the device as I had to explain it to him.
Most definitely helps. Strange that many urologists (mine included) don't know much about the connection (perhaps they fear for their business?) There is a good published article (2009) reproduced on the High Island Health's website: "Evaluation of an At-Home-Use Prostate Massage Device for Men with Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms", Jillian L. Capodice, Brian A. Stone and Aaron E. Katz*, Department of Urology, Columbia University Medical Center, NY, USA. Good luck to you and keep on with Aneros!
Has anyone found any relief from BPH symptoms why using the Aneros?
YES, most definitely, myself and many men on this forum can attest to improved urinary functioning as a result of routine Aneros usage. Stronger urine flow, more complete bladder emptying and less frequent urgency for voiding are the major effects I've noticed from my routine Aneros use.

It is truly a shame more urologists are not aware of the ongoing Columbia Medical School study using the Pro-State massagers @goldenboy referenced above.
FYI, High Island Health LLC is the parent company & manufacturer of the Aneros ® brand of prostate massagers. This patented device was originally and is currently offered for sale as the Pro-State ® line of massagers on the High Island Health website. The HIH website is primarily oriented toward the health aspects and benefits of prostate massage in accord with Oriental medicine for prostate related issues. I encourage you to check out that site to learn more about the health benefits. The High Island Health website contains testimonials from users regarding their experiences using these wonderful little massagers, it also provides links to additional information on prostate health, the Aneros® website, by contrast, is oriented toward the sensual, pleasure aspects of prostate massage.
Good Vibes to You !
Interestingly enough, both my family doctor and my urologist are familiar with the HIH products and see them as a good thing - following a DRE, blood test-PSA etc. My family doc said that the idea is to rule out cancer - she added that once cancer is ruled out, easy-going use of those devices is not going to do you any harm and sometimes does help a lot for guys with minor to mid grade BPH, or whose major BPH can be brought down a bit first. Same goes for the aneros devices that match up to the HIH offerings. My family doc laughed when I showed her my progasm, she said that it was more along the sex-toy idea than a therapeutic device, but she then added well it seems to agree with you. She has had great results with guys using pills for short term, HIH for long term, e.g. go on Flomax, order device, start using device while taking Flomax for 2 to 4 weeks than wean off. She told me that for guys with really large prostate she recommends the PS2 as it is the least likely to upset anything. The PS New is ideal for guys with mild to moderate BPH and the PS X ideal for guys with no BPH issues but who want "preventative" benefits.
