So after almost 4 years I can finally feel some pleasure and shaking just with the aneros, but only for the first few contractions and then nothing. Absolutely nothing. Any advice?
This is by far the most boring sex toy in the world. I hope someday it will work before I die.
Blohan, Please supply more information for us to help you. Helpful things to add will be, Model your using, How often your using it, How long you use it for, Your technique in using it, How you prepare for sessions, Your physical condition, Your mental condition, What you use for lube and how much, Your state of arousal before entering a session, How you end your sessions (ejac via masturbation? Ejac via Hands Free Orgasm?). Theres alot more to it than this even and you should endeavour to give us as much information as possible for us to process and respond with the best advice we can muster.
"This is by far the most boring sex toy in the world." - I mean no offence in this but the problem is Not with the sex toy. You have to take responsibility for your sexual endeavours and if you want to achieve a super-o it takes work, research and practice. This device is not plug and play, Although i do realise that you have had it for almost 4 years, Your post certainly does not support a theory that youve done alot of research into the matter so far. Honestly i feel part of your problem may lie in attitude (you are certainly not alone in this case as i feel we all probably had this problem at one point), Try not to bring negativity into your sessions and instead focus on whatever small pleasure you do get from this. A change in your brain needs to occur before you get real pleasure from this device. This change happens when you focus on the sensations created by your prostate from direct stimulation, and you brain begins to recognize this feeling as a new source of pleasure. I believe negativity clouds this sensation from being a good one and slows down if not stops the rewiring process of the brain.
I really hope you can get what you want out of your 'sex toy', and my intention for this post is purely to try to and help you. Good luck
I'm on the same page. Less frustrated however but yeah, I'm also slowly losing my interest and only having sessions now and then. Maybe that will make it one day. Who knows.

How much research one must do? I have researched a lot.
Research is one thing, but information alone is useless - it is how you interpret that information for your own purposes that matters. If you approach this too logically, you will probably miss the point - you should be reading between the lines. There is NO recipe for success that you can follow line by line. Relax, and lighten up. Your WILL or your EGO alone is unlikely produce what you desire.
As a non-user of Aneros products may I suggest an alternative? It requires nothing beyond your own body. I am speaking of nipple orgasm, which can produce intense whole body orgasms with the potential for multiple orgasm. I have posted on it here on various threads. You can also get tips in my Yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nipple_orgasm/
It may take some rewiring over time, but others have gone that path with wonderful results.
1. Enema
2. WORK ON YOUR KEGELS. I got to the point where I can feel slight involuntary movement just from kegel exercises. It took me about 2 weeks to get there, exercise daily (200 one-second contractions preceded by 12 ten-second ones).
3. Get a good lube. I'm using Helix and I chose ID Millenium, which is silicone-based and super long-lasting. Don't try it if you use Aneros Syn (silicone-based). The lubing procedure goes like this: apply lube, insert, do a small number of contractions in your favorite positions (in my case - on my back with knees bent, and on my knees and elbows, legs a bit apart). Remove aneros, and repeat until you stop feeling a difference (more lube doesn't change anything).
After months of weak sessions and abandoning Aneros Helix several times, I figured out this method and it transformed my sessions. Today I had my fifth very good session in a row, my penis was weeping tears of joy for 3 hours, I got rock-hard cock several times and it felt like I was floating for a while. Whenever a position stopped feeling enjoyable, I simply switched to another position (quick, shallow contractions vs slow, deep ones, and so on). Today I ended the session simply because it had to stop at some point, I could go on. My kegels weren't even too tired.
5 very good sessions in a row, I do it every other day, so I started about 10 days ago.
Tip: if you get involuntary movement or shaking, keep hitting that spot. It's not great at first, but the feeling grows stronger.

Stop feeling a difference? What do you mean?
Also, another question for everyone, why do I never "milk"? Regardless of wether I feel something or not, nothing ever really comes out except some pre cum. Shouldn't prostate fluid be released?¡
@blohan precum is prostate fluid! you are milking. See it is working even though you did not know it.The good feelings only come with time and practice. If you have to patients to just keep practicing for months you will get there and as the feeling get stronger so will your desire to use the aneros so it becomes a snowball affect.

blohan, The quick answer to your question "Shouldn't prostate fluid be released?" is - 'not necessarily'.
I believe 'braveneworld' is stretching the term "milking" to include 'pre-cum', which is actually not prostatic fluid but a Bulbourethal gland (Cowper's gland) emission, see the thread Cowper's Gland vs. Prostatic Fluid.
While the terms 'prostate massage' and 'prostate milking' are often used interchangeably, I think we need to make a finer distinction here. Prostate massage is the action undertaken to manipulate and stimulate the prostate, prostate "milking" is the resultant emission of prostatic fluids due to that massage action. Prostate massage may or may not result in a "milking". With this having been said, if you have been using your massager in accordance with the manufacturers instructions (hands free) then you have been massaging your prostate this whole time. For a few men, this self massaging may result in occasional "milking" as well, but, generally, the pressure exerted by your massager via use of your internal pelvic floor muscles is insufficient to force seminal fluids past the ejaculatory duct valves. However, the light pressure of your Aneros massager is entirely sufficient to excite your nerves into an orgasmic reponse.
Many individuals have resorted to manual intervention/manipulation of their Aneros massagers in order to reach these higher thresholds of pressure but this can expose the user to increased chances for injury, hence the manufacturer's recommendation for hands free use. There are also other prostate massage tools on the market which may be employed more effectively to accomplish a true "milking", if that is what one desires. In any event, one needs to be very careful when applying pressure to the prostate and neighboring organs in an attempt to accomplish any "milking" (Rule of thumb : Apply no more pressure than you would employ to rub your own eyeball).
'Milking' your prostate of seminal fluids can be learned. You can read a short paragraph about Prostate Milking in the “Your Body” chapter of the Aneros WIKI. You can read a longer treatise on prostate milking technique and issues from Lady Lubyanka. There is also a well written blog by Andr. titled HOW TO MILK A BULL which gives step by step descriptions of the process. My own experience has revealed the conditions need to be 'right' to accomplish a true "milking" using your Aneros and without using your hand to manipulate the massager. Generally, you need to be highly aroused, your prostate needs to be full and engorged due to arousal (an erect penis from edging is helpful but not mandatory). You should be on the high excitement plateau just before reaching the PNR (Point of No Return), then using your sphincter and PC muscles start performing very strong, rhythmic, slow paced contractions with total relaxation between contractions. It is important to maintain your arousal level, through penile stimulation if necessary, but don't take yourself to the point of ejaculatory inevitability (PNR). This may take a long time and be somewhat strenuous but you will eventually get the ejaculatory ducts to open and the drip, drip, drip of prostatic fluid. The process may not yield much fluid nor be intensely pleasurable in relationship to the amount of energy expended, but it can be done. I suspect having a professional masseuse do this would be much more pleasant as you could really just relax into the pleasurable release to be had.
Good Vibes to You !

Oh it's just that on xtube videos it's a lot of fluid and white, like sperm
I mentioned it because of a youtube video that I can't find right now, of a doctor saying that all the prostate fluid needs to be taken out regularly, to ensure health, but the aneros doesn't work for that? aND how to I get to the point of no return?
The video I saw was basically saying that the prostate fluid doesn't come out with ejaculation? and that not milking it is what causes disease in the long run because it goes stale? Is it true?

While I believe that regular ejaculations are certainly a healthy practice for men and there is some scientific evidence to support a reduced incidence rate of prostate cancer in men who ejaculated frequently in their twenties and thirties, there does not appear to be compelling evidence to say that a celibate lifestyle of abstinence is inherently unhealthy either. If that were so we would have significant statistical evidence showing higher rates of prostatitis and prostate cancers amongst monks and priests. Aneros use in conjunction with normal ejaculation frequently results in a stronger, more voluminous ejaculation with greater emptying of seminal fluids from the prostate than normal non-Aneros assisted ejaculations.
In the explanation I gave to you above, you may use whatever form of masturbation you like to 'edge' yourself to the point of no return, repeated 'edging' within the session will increase your likelihood of a successful "milking".

I haven't seen the video to which you are referring but it is incorrect to say "...prostate fluid doesn't come out with ejaculation...". By definition ejaculation is the emission of semen and semen is composed of sperm (2-5%), seminal vesicle fluid (65-75%), prostatic fluid (25-30%) and precum.

@braveneworld: YES!
I have learned more from @rumel in the last 2 years than in the previous 58 years about my body and sexuality. It is his, and a few others, tireless support of their fellow men, that makes this forum so very special. They have created an accepting place that has provided an opportunity to witness first hand, the viewpoints and experiences of a wide range of life-styles and choices, challenging, and broadening, my acceptance of others. I have been changed.
Thank you!
