Hello. This is my 1st post and I am hoping that others may be able to answer a question I have about the ANEROS, please? I had my prostate removed about 10 months ago and just about like all men who have been through this, I find that I currently have little if any erectile function and much reduced sensitivity in my penis. I am told that this may improve, or not, and that it may take up to another 2-3 years to find out. While I realise the ANEROS is designed to stimulate the prostate, I have been reading online about some men who claim to have achieved pleasure from using one post radical prostatectomy. Therefore, can any one here who may be, or may have been, in a similar situation tell me whether this is the case, or not? Many thanks in advance!

@sarfan500 I feel for you and your condition; I trust that you are on the path to a more complete recovery. I did a "quick" net search (you should too) and discovered that although you may experience ED, that does not necessarily mean that you cannot orgasm. Check it out! Also, there is something called "nerve-sparing" surgery. Is that what you had? Anyway, good luck to you! Where there's a will........

@sarfan500, I'm sorry to hear about your loss but if nerve sparing surgery was employed you have a chance for Aneros use to be pleasurable. I'm a prostate cancer survivor though I had external beam radiation therapy in lieu of a radical prostatectomy. I found some related threads which may have useful information for you -> Aneros after Prostatectomy?, Will Aneros work for prostate cancer survivors?, Does the Aneros work for Prostate Cancer survivors with no prostate?, Aneros and Prostate Cancer, How does Radical Prostatectomy affect the Aneros experience?, No Prostate, Prostatectomy and Aneros, Prostate cancer survivors & Which one to start with. I wish you the best going forward.
Good Vibes to You !

Just a thought, but maybe your ability to have non-ejaculatory non-prostate orgasms remains the same? Instead of prostate orgasms you could experiment with anal orgasms (perhaps using a model such as the peridise?). I've almost had anal orgasms and I remember it being very intense, and that was without penetration so no direct stimulation to the prostate was necessary.

Anal orgasms are a possibility. Also, the possibility of deriving pleasure from massaging the seminal vesicles.

There s also one other alternative. Estim, electrostimulation. If you want to know how it works, then send me a PM.I have good experience of it due to ED thru Multple Sklerose. I know others who had their prostate removed but found good pleasure from estim. There are ways to stimulate the nerves.

I am brand new here looking for the same answers that sarfan500 is looking for. I too had a Radical Prostatectomy about 8 months ago and still have no ability to get an erection, maybe a little twitch. Prior to the surgery, I had an active masturbatory sex life (during and after a poor marriage sexually), usually masturbating 3 or 4 times a week. I did have some issues with full erections, due to age I guess, but my PCP suggested using a cock ring which helped tremendously. So I was anxious to get started again after the surgery was fully healed. I expected the ED so read up on masturbation after prostatectomy and found that penile stimulation (use plenty of lube), even though not erect, could still cause an orgasm, just no ejaculation obvioiusly. Boy, were they right and I was very pleased.

After several months like this, I still had no advancement on the erection front so I started doing more research on anal stimulation and found out about prostate massagers. Even though I didn't have a prostate, I figured it might work anyway since the most of the nerve endings were still intact. I started with my finger which was new to me so it felt a little strange at first, but the more I tried, the better it got. It's a little difficult to find the right spot since I didn't have a prostate. I have also just recently bought two Prostate Masssagers, an Aneros Syn and a Phanxy Vibrating Massager. I have tried each of them once, and since I am a neophyte, I need much more practice to get the most pleasure from them, but I am hopeful. After one use, I'd recommend the Syn as it "fit" a lot more comfortaby than the larger Phanxy, but the vibrating feature of the Phanxy may prove useful. I have not heard of the electric stimulatin but that sounds hopeful as well.

I am looking for a video tutorial on how best to use the Aneros Syn. With all of the graphic porn available on the internet, I'm a little surprised not to find something along these lines. I'm just hoping to get similar results as others who have found extended pleasure using prostate massagers. Thanks for listening...

My condolences. I have an elevated PSA count and have had two prostate biopsies (both painful and negative) so I am more focused than some on the concept of life without a prostate.

This forum is filled with discussion about non traditional male orgasm. As part of my Aneros experience I have done a lot research and experimentation on alternate stimulation and orgasm. My personal findings are that virtually your entire body can be a source of feelings of ecstasy. Stimulation of parts of the endocrine system and the belief in Chakras also point to focus areas of the body that can affect pleasure. So if there is an absence of many replies from guys without prostates, I suggest an exploration of the world of non traditional stimulation and orgasm to supplement.
