My Helix arrived last Friday and I couldn't wait to use it. Finding private time is a challenge around my house, so I caught some time when I could. However, I only had time to get used to it and focus on my breathing. I found that I had strong intense feelings while on my back, not so much on my side. Well, to make a long story short, I was "practicing" while my wife was outside in our pool. She surprised me by coming inside which forced me to find a quick way to hide the fact of what I was doing. I immediately proceeded to the toilet and sat down as if I were going to the bathroom. She came in and I told her I was having a stomach ache. She was sensitive but didn't leave the area. I experienced a very different sensation while sitting on the toilet. The tab was pressed more firmly into my perineum and suddenly I was having contractions in my pelvic region that lasted for about a minute then subsided. I wasn't able to do any special breathing or focusing, except to keep the Helix in. I started sweating prosfusely. Could someone help me understand what was happening here? It was pleasurable however, her presence hampered any strong feelings or my ability to go further.

My wife is not too understanding so trying to engage her in this activity wouldn't be received very well. It would be wonderful to include her, but that isn't going to happen. I'm looking forward to devoting more time to my activity. I don't have unreasonable expectations, so I'll just let happen what happens. I'm not going to push it. Thanks for listening.

Mark

Sounds like there was just enough stress or tension to make your whole body tight and the contractions were therefore more powerful, but no relaxation means you can't have the easing part of the pendulum. I don't that last sentence didn't seem to make too much sense, but that's what's happened to me when I am unexpectedly interrupted.

i have found my best times are using the aneros while sitting on the toilet... laying down, i couldnt get the sensations as well.. you might try using it while unpressured, on the toilet again.. it seems to work better for me... much better results...

I'm like KCsmooth in that my wife wouldn't appreciate this kind of thing either... so I'm doing this in secret. I'm curious if anyone else in this situation ever has sessions in bed at night without their wife's knowledge. Is it possible to have good results this way? Of course, you wouldn't want to be thrashing about... but if you're not yet at the super-o level, maybe this would be a good way to become accustomed to the device, the contractions to use, and the feelings that go with it.

Every Saturday morning, I enjoy an Aneros session while my wife snoozes away next to me. We have a king sized bed, so she's not right on top of me, but still quite close. I don't make any noise, but I find that when I hit the top (not sure if it's a Super-O), my body tenses up from head to toe, begins to shake and finally does a convulsion-like jerk as I cross over the top (much the same way you naturally do an inward thrust during intercourse at the moment of ejaculation). If she notices, she's never said anything.

Hook, thanks for sharing. I've kinda planned ahead... if I'm ever caught in the act of any convulsive movements, I figure I could tell her I had a cramp. It would only be a semi-untruth... the definition of "cramp" is "a sudden, involuntary, spasmodic muscular contraction causing severe pain"... so only the "severe pain" part would be untrue :-).
