I've been trying my new Aneros off and on for several months now. After only a few minutes after starting I begin to feel what I believe are involuntary contractions in my body. Usually it starts as shaking in a leg or arm but it quickly moves to my anal mussles. The contractions are amplified when I just slightly contract the Aneros part way in and will last for seveal minutes if I can hold that contraction for a while. After a few minutes the contractions subside but if I relax then start contracting again in a few minutes I can make the shaking and involuntary contractions resume.
My problem is that I am not feeling anything that could be described as a big O. I don't feel anything that I would consider even pleasurable. I don't mind the feeling of the aneros in be but I read this forum about all of the mind blowing orgasms and I want one too. Any suggestions for what I might be able to do to get to the next step?
This is very close to what I experence. Let me start by saying that I love the Aneros. From the first time I used it, it created new sensations for me. I have had it for maybe four months, but have yet to have a hands free "O". What I do get is very pleasurable, and when I stim the penis the "O" is always good. I do find that the more I use it, the closer I get. I also find that the session needs to be long. It often takes me 15 to 20 mins before it feels like anything sensual. IT just sort of kicks in. Then, I don't want the feeling to stop. As I continue contracting, the feeling overwhelms, and at times when I stim the penis, I sort of forget to continue the the hand stimulation, because the feeling in the anus is so satisfying. Then I bear down, granted, this is after at least an hour. (can you tell I live alone?) Last night I was sure I was going to have a hands free orgasm, but in the end hand stim was still required. The orgasm was incredible! One I thought about all day today! Needed no porn, no fantasy, just the Aneros and a hand. I do believe that I'll achieve a hands free orgasm, or so I hope. But even what it does do, without the hands free "O", is worth the price. So for beginners, I say patience, and don't rush the session. And I don't work for the company, nor do I play one on TV.
I'm Still working on it but haven't made any more progress. Usually after an hour to an hour and a half I've contracted my anal muscles enough times that they are too tired to continue. I suppose I'll get stronger as I use this more and maybe that is partly what is keeping me from getting to the pleasurable part. I should mention that if I do stimulate the penis I ejaculate very quickly with a great quantity of cum.
I do have a question regarding the online instructions. They state "Slowly contract your anal sphincter to about one fourth to half of full con-traction strength and maintain this level of contraction." How long do you hold this contraction? Is it still in time with the breathing or should it be for longer. I've tried both and it seems to me that it works better if I hold it as long as I can. I can hold it for a few minutes at most. Is this the case with the rest of you?
I've only been using the Aneros for a couple weeks now. Last night was the first time I experienced any pleasurable sensation, it wasn't much. Just an involuntary contraction that started to feel really good for a few seconds, then it subsided and I couldn't seem to get it back. But that involuntary was the result of me holding a mild contraction for a long time, maybe about a minute. Then slowly but surely increasing the intensity of the contraction. After I reached a certain point my sphincter muscle just took over and felt like it was trying to swallow the Aneros. I felt a small wave of pleasure that was unlike anything I've felt before (and I have had plenty of anal sex). Encouraging if nothing else. We'll see what happens tonight.
Hi Empires,
It sounds as though you are starting to make progress. That is great!

Yeah, same result here. Going on 9 months now, getting pretty boring. After a month or so, I started getting shaking and contracting in my arms and legs. I know its the aneros doing this, but feel nothing pleasurable. Believe me I've tried EVERYTHING suggested in this forum. The one compensation is that traditional hand stimulated orgasms are much more pleasurable with the aneros inserted, so that is nice, but it sure as hell ain't doing what its supposed to do or what I bought it for. Disapointing to say the least, especially when it works for everyone else who buys it...
Recently, and after a LONG time using the Aneros without Super-O (I'm talking years, off and on), I discovered that the "factory-model" Helix was not truly engaging my prostate, or at least not without a lot of effort on my part. I figured this out by manually holding the Aneros in different positions, as if I was trying to force the perineum tab to rest at a point closer to my scrotum and farther from the anus, while at the same time pulling the Aneros slightly out of my body from its normal resting position. This had the effect of re-positioning the head of the Aneros and I began to feel it sliding along my prostate with every motion of my muscles.
So I read up on the threads about how to modify the Aneros using a heat gun or open flame, and successfully bend the tab so it is closer to the main body of the Aneros. This has made a HUGE improvement in my sessions, to the point where I have begun having small Super-Os. I used an open flame, and a small part of the Aneros actually caught on fire at one point, so be careful if you try to modify yours.
Our bodies are all slightly different -- for anyone who feels that they have made an honest effort to relax and follow the Aneros instructions but still does not reach strong sensations, my advice to you is to give up on the "hands-free" motto for a while and try manually holding the Aneros in different positions until you feel it has engaged your prostate. Believe me, you will know when it has! Then, you might consider if adjusting the tab will help hold it in a better position so you can return to the "hands-free" approach. Good luck!
